Retellings in English

This activity helps learners of English build their Listening and Speaking skills, and it also contributes to major improvement in their vocabulary, confidence and story-telling abilities

Before each class, learners are given a video to watch and interpret so they can tell, in class, everything they understood from it. It is a stimulating and valuable opportunity for students to gather new vocabulary, familiarize themselves with different subjects and accents, and produce coherent speech.

The videos cover a wide range of subjects like - travel, behavior, business, culture, entertainment, news, economy, politics, careers, art, well-being, etc.

After each Retelling, learners receive feedback regarding Pronunciation, Grammar & Structure and Vocabulary. Sometimes the Retelling is recorded so students have the opportunity to assess their development.

The videos also offer teacher and learners material and ideas to be discussed in class, making this course even more communicative.
